Jennifer Gilbert To Be a Featured Panelist on Ellevate’s Resilience Panel
September 23, 2014
On Tuesday, September 23rd, Ellevate is set to host a panel of successful, driven businesswomen to discuss the topic of resilience. Moderated by Sallie Krawcheck, the conversation surrounding resilience will shed light on the panelists’ experiences and bring together intellectual minds to have an honest, open discussion.
Featured on the panel will be Save The Date®’s own Jennifer Gilbert, who was among the few hand-picked to speak about her professional experiences on the subject of resilience. As a successful entrepreneur, Jennifer has had an inspiring career throughout her life, growing her own business from the ground up while inspiring others along the way. Her success in the business world has been marked by milestones and accolades, leading to titles such as Ernst and Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year.” The chief visionary officer of Save the Date® and author of, I Never Promised You A Goodie Bag
, Jennifer’s diverse experience in the business world has prepared her as the perfect candidate for Ellevate’s Resilience Panel.
Former Wall Street executive and head of women’s network Ellevate, moderator Sallie Krawcheck is well-revered in the business world for helping invest in the professional success of women through the power of her company’s network. In a recent LinkedIn article, she remarks on her experience with resilience: “In the early days of your career, success may be driven by how smart or clever you are,” she wrote. “But before very long, success is driven by how resilient you are. Given how quickly business moves, you’re going to get knocked down; success is about how many times you get back up.”
Alongside Jennifer and Sallie will sit Deborah Norville, Inside Edition Anchor at CBS and Lauren Manning, author of Unmeasured Strength
. The event will take place at the Harmonie Club on Tuesday, September 23, from 6pm – 8pm. With a powerful panel of inspiring speakers, this conversation on resilience is not one to miss. For more details, visit Ellevate’s page.
